About BeatrizVasquezARTE
BeatrizVasquezARTE is an artist dedicated to creating impactful cultural art that celebrates her Mexican heritage and honors folkloric papel picado and those who continue to preserve this ancient art form. Beatriz is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but is an international ambassador of cultural art through the U.S Art in Embassies, Africa and Mexico. Beatriz's work often explores social justice themes, environmental awareness and Mexican cultural narratives of childhood memory.
Showcasing a passion for art
The process of creating is mainly paper cutting and manipulating paper through twisting, folding, pop-up, for paper wearables, paper murals and most recently, light DJ with colorful shadows of light and intricate paper cut imagery. Beatriz's work reflects years of dedication and a heartfelt commitment to her creative practice. Experience the depth and emotion embedded in every piece.
